A bespoke course for farmers and rural businesses
DurhamLearn and UTASS have teamed up to develop a bespoke course designed for farmers and rural businesses providing all learners with interchangeable skills.
The Rural Digital Skills Support course has been designed to deliver training in a blended learning model meaning that the majority of training will be done online at a time and place that suits the learner. Classes are tailored and are held once per month in Middleton-in-Teesdale making it accessible, achievable and most importantly, relevant!
Those who successfully complete the qualification will gain a nationally recognised qualification (ITQ Certificate Level 1 7574-01) as well as gain invaluable skills to support their business.
Our flexible learning course has been created specifically for individuals who are unable to attend conventional class room based sessions. We know that one size does not fit all, so our online tools and individual learning plan will help develop a unique programme tailored to learner need.
Our interactive VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) ‘Canvas’ will allow you to access live online tutorials with your tutor, activity sheets, fact sheets, web links and online videos to provide you with the necessary tools to help you to learn and succeed.
In addition to online learning there will be a face to face session once a month from January to May
All sessions are held at :
